Maryland Construction Project Asbestos Presence Ignored by Maryland State Officials

In Catonsville, Maryland, residents have expressed repeated concerns regarding the presence of asbestos in a Westview Park construction project to no avail with state of Maryland officials.  The asbestos was found on the construction site of construction company Enterprise Homes, which is currently in works to build a senior affordable housing complex.  The company has accommodated residents and soothed their concerns through intra-company regulation of the asbestos situation; however, residents remain outraged at the lack of response from Maryland state officials and the Maryland Department of the Environment.
